Planting Party

Overview: 

• Tree planting at Foundation Park on Saturday November 14 from 11 - 12:30.  Bernadett will do a brief tree planting demonstration of best practices followed by a volunteer opportunity to help plant the trees.  Rain date: November 21. 

• Plant an allée of native trees along walking path arranged by fall leaf color for ombre effect (locations will be measured & staked & trees delivered day before) 

• Expand existing pollinator plot that was created in spring 2025 by putting down cardboard, soil and/or mulch over grass.  

• Plant smaller oaks & other keystone trees in grassy area closer to tree lawn to create a soft landing demonstration area.
