FALL CARNIVAL - Volunteer Signups

We are looking for volunteers to be in charge of the following games/activities:

-LOGISTICS LEAD HELPERS (Friday day, Saturday day, Saturday night)

-PRIZE WALK: Setup PTA speakers and Mic, gather prizes, setup and decorate the area. High School Volunteers will run this activity. Explain game to volunteers

-GUESSING GAMES: Decorate the area with guessing jars & eye balls, pumpkin, and guessing papers. Determine the winner and tell to DJ to announce.

-FREE POPCORN AND LEMONADE STAND: Setup area for high school volunteers to make popcorn and lemonade. Purchase popcorn kernels. High School Volunteers will run this activity.

-HIGH SCHOOL VOLUNTEER LIAISON: Checks in and signs off on hours at the end of night. Check in is at 4 pm, check out is at 8 pm.

*All expenses can be repaid by PTA with receipts.

Please bring bagged candy and any-size pumpkin.

Drop off in bins next to the front office between 10/19-10/23. Pumpkins can be left next to the art room.

Sell tickets before and/or after school. Oct 19-23.

Deliver sold wristbands to teachers mailboxes on Friday 10/23.

We also need volunteers to sell wristbands and check wristbands at the entrance of the Carnival Saturday night. There will be 1 hour shifts. Please comment on 4:45-5:45, 5:45-6:45, 6:45-745 pm

Volunteers to Pre-set up game booths. Most jobs will be assigned on day of. If you are looking for specific job, see event leads.

To Do:

Pull pop out tents out of the carnival shed. Carry to designated areas near classrooms. Room reps and art docents will decorate.

Hang lights in each tent and daisy chain power cables.

Room Reps find assigned games with instructions and verify all pieces are accounted for.

Most Jobs will be assigned on day of. If you are looking for specific job, see event leads.

Our volunteers work hard and so we want to provide coffee, water, snacks for those who show up Saturday morning. We need someone to pick up refreshments. Please keep receipts. Thank you!

We need someone to order and pick up pizza for the High School students who volunteer Saturday night. Please keep receipts.

Walk the carnival with a walkie talkie while spending time with your family. Help keep eyes and ears open for safety concerns, lost children, etc.

Everything needs to go back into the shed in an orderly manner.

Volunteers to jump in and find a group to clean up with. There will be plenty to do.

Cleanup all event areas, put away tables, put away signage, clean and put away lemonade and popcorn machines, tear down haunted house and slide blow ups.

Clean up usually last 1 hour to 90 minutes with all hands on deck.

Picking up donuts, coffee, water for Sunday morning Clean Up Crew. Please keep receipts.

Help keep our school clean and pickup any trash left behind.

Gloves, Trash bags, buckets, and pickup tools provided.

Coffee, fruit and donuts provided!
