Can I really use SignUpReady for free forever?
Yes! Our Free Forever plan includes 1 active signup sheet with up to 25 participants. It's perfect for small groups, occasional events, or trying out the platform. Need more? Upgrade to Plus for unlimited sheets.
What happens when I upgrade or downgrade?
You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, and you keep all premium features until then.
Is there a contract or long-term commitment?
No contracts! All plans are month-to-month. Cancel anytime with no penalties or fees.
Do you offer discounts for schools or nonprofits?
No special nonprofit or school discounts â the same transparent pricing applies to everyone. Many schools, churches, and 501(c)(3)s start on Free forever (1 active sheet, 25 participants). Plus is $9/month and Pro is $29/month when you need unlimited sheets and team features.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe.
How do I upgrade to a paid plan?
You can upgrade anytime from your account settings. Just add your payment method and select your plan. Your new features activate instantly.
Can I collect money from participants when they sign up?
Yes, on every plan. Connect a Stripe account from your dashboard and you can put a price on any slot â a fixed fee, a per-unit price, optional add-ons, a pay-what-you-want amount, or dues billed in monthly installments. You are the merchant of record and Stripe pays you directly. SignUpReady's platform fee on a one-time payment is 1.5% + $0.20 on Free, 0.75% + $0.10 on Plus, and 0.5% on Pro, on top of Stripe's own processing rate. On recurring dues the percentage is the same but our fixed component does not apply, because Stripe expresses a platform's cut on a subscription as a percentage only. Stripe's own per-invoice processing fee still applies. Slots you leave free cost nothing extra.
