2. Account Registration and Responsibilities

Account Creation

To create signup sheets, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our Service as an Organizer. Participants may be of any age but should have parental consent if under 18.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Collect or harvest personal information without consent
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Engage in spam or unsolicited advertising
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service

4. User Content and Ownership

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to the Service, including signup sheets, descriptions, and participant information. By using the Service, you grant SignUpReady a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

Organizer Responsibilities

As an Organizer, you are responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of your signup sheets
• Obtaining necessary permissions to collect participant information
• Complying with privacy laws regarding participant data
• Using participant information only for the stated purpose
• Not sharing participant contact information without permission

Prohibited Content

You may not create or share content that is:

• Illegal, harmful, or promotes violence
• Defamatory, abusive, or harassing
• Sexually explicit or inappropriate
• Discriminatory based on race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics
• Fraudulent or misleading

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

Plan Tiers

We offer Free, Plus, and Pro subscription plans. Features and limitations for each plan are described on our Pricing Page.

Payment and Billing

• Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of that period.

6. Service Availability and Modifications

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when possible.

The Service, including its design, features, graphics, and code, is owned by SignUpReady and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignUpReady shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy or reliability of user-generated content
• Disputes between organizers and participants
• Events, activities, or commitments arranged through the Service
• Loss of data due to user error or technical issues

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SignUpReady, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
• Your content or signup sheets

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@signupready.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
