Carpool Schedule for Scouts

Scout meetings, campouts, and service projects are spread across town. A carpool signup sheet lets troop families share the driving so no one parent is hauling scouts to every event alone.

Tips for Scouts

Scout troops meet weekly and have monthly outings that require parent drivers. A carpool rotation for regular meetings plus dedicated driver signups for special events keeps the troop mobile without burning out a handful of families.

Include Campout Logistics

For campout carpools, note the meeting point, departure time, gear requirements, and whether drivers need to stay or can drop off. Parents plan differently for each scenario.

Verify Driver Clearances

Many scout organizations require current background checks for drivers. Include this requirement in the sheet description.

List All Passenger Names

Ask each driver to note which scouts they are transporting in the comment field. The troop leader needs an accurate manifest for safety.
