Neighborhood watch programs deter crime and build community trust. They work best with a consistent rotation of residents covering different time blocks. A signup sheet formalizes the schedule so coverage doesn't depend on one or two dedicated families.
Cover Evening and Weekend Slots
Most activity happens after dark and on weekends. Prioritize evening (7–10 PM) and weekend slots. Early morning and daytime slots are less critical but still valuable.
Collect Phone Numbers
Enable the phone field so watch coordinators have cell numbers for every volunteer. Quick communication is essential during incidents.
Include Reporting Instructions
