Tips for Neighborhoods

Neighborhood potlucks range from small cul-de-sac dinners to large block parties with 50+ families. A signup sheet posted in the neighborhood group chat prevents the classic problem of ten potato salads and no main course.

Group by Street or Building

If your neighborhood is large, add the street name or building number to slots so everyone knows which area is bringing what and the spread stays balanced.

Don't Forget Supplies

Add slots for ice, coolers, folding tables, chairs, trash bags, and serving utensils. The non-food items are easy to forget but critical for outdoor events.

Include a Rain Date Note

Add the rain date in the sheet description so neighbors know the backup plan before signing up. It reduces confusion if you need to reschedule.
